Welcome to the Trusted Computing Project
The Trusted Computing Project is addressing the issues of providing affordable computing that, with use, can be trusted by both the public and the suppliers of e-services / e-Government where:
- Users are not required to have any security or administration skills.
- User's actions can not compromise the integrity of the software on the computer.
- Support is built in for smart cards - so enabling users to prove their identity.
- Exclusive use is made of Open Source Software that, because the code is published, can be trusted.
