Getting Involved

There are two aspects of the Trusted Computing Project. The first is providing consultancy to organisations who need to understand the issues of deploying Linux desktop computers . The second is the provision of managed Linux desktop computers.

The Trusted Computing Project provides a vehicle that enables IT profesionals to work with the Free Software / Open Source community. When it comes to considering the use of Free / Open Source software there is a refreshing lack of high pressure marketing organisations. The decision to use Free / Open Source software can only be made by well informed IT professionals who are sharing their knowledge and experience with others of a similar mind.

E-business / e-Government starts and stops at the desktop. By now it should be obvious to all that desktop computers must be designed and managed to be secure. For a very good analysis see: Crypto-Gram Newsletter September 15, 2007
